I'm Lisa, the drummer and pusher of the band.

I'm in love with Lara and Shelly and have had a crush on the musical abilities of everyone who has ever been a member of Big Sister. Alana is no exception.
Growing up in an intellectual and atheist household, my most spiritual times in childhood were with my family, helping my father to pick the finale mixes. My father's music has influenced me as much as it has you. Daddy is a famous record producer who made the greatest rhythm and blues records ever. You can still hear God in the soul music he produced. He's a great writer, so if you want to get a clear picture of how the music business was shaped, find a copy of the book "The Rhythm And The Blues." Anyway, I inherited his ears and his muscular legs along with his type "A" personality. My other influences include the Stones, Beatles, James Brown, Hendrix and The Dead.
I love playing in this band because due to our bluesy roots, our music is often seductive and intoxicating. Our chemistry is classic. I'm the pusher who sells us to the venues and festivals. My type "A" has booked us shows for fifteen years. To this day I am saddened and amazed that there aren't more female rock bands. I can boldly, proudly and honestly say that we are the woman who rock.
